MLP: Gundam Fights are Magic by sirmanguyperson MLP: Gundam Fights are Magic by sirmanguyperson
I was just watching through Mobile Fighter G Gundam when I heard a very interesting quote that tickled the fancy of my newly tuned brony wave detector. Having no reason to deny myself the pleasure of exploiting the moment, I created this image.

I believe the gundam franchise is owned by Bandai... and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is owned by Hasbro... Lauren Faust... etc etc...

Well, can't say I ever noticed this one. I'm certainly no brony, but I will admit the coincidence is both hilarious and disappointing. And so G Gundam becomes dead to me.

you seem about as close minded as a chicken with brain cancer. here is a step by step process on fixing this

1. go to the sahara desert
2. harvest a cactus
3. proceed to fuck yourself with it

or

be a little more open minded and respect what other people enjoy i am a die hard gundam fan and im also a brony

The subtitles for that line actually say "Anyone that tries to thwart another's love shall be sent to Hell by the hooves of this horse!" But obviously Toonami wouldn't let them say "Hell" in the English version.

Sadly I don't really have any comments on the deviation itself, as I neither like nor dislike MLP. But I thought you might find the original quote interesting. If this random bit of trivia annoys you in any way, then please feel free to ignore me.

Actually... I was aware of the subbed text for that line xD I watched the series in both japanese and english, but I found that the english dubbed line portrayed the theme I was trying to capture just a bit better. That and I was trying to capture the nostalgia factor that I had felt as a kid watching the series well nearing ten years ago, before I had the will or knowledge to know that there was even a japanese version.

Yeah, it kind of seems funny the kinds of words that you hear in "america aired" cartoons nowadays... especially on the networks that had for the most part been really good at keeping it censored. By today's standards... they would most likely just let the Hell line air now.

And I really do appreciate your trivia and feedback.
